Your player’s journey,
one game at a time.
Our logbook is the perfect addition to your player’s development! In addition to practice, training, games, film study, and coaching, a record of each game’s statistics can help your player analyze strengths, recognize areas for improvement and set attainable goals. You can directly enhance your player’s development by logging their game-to-game stats in our one of a kind, keepsake stat book! -And before you think “I don’t know anything about taking stats,” take a look at our example page on the inside front cover! Soon, you’ll be confidently tracking your player’s journey.
We've made stat taking simple, even for beginners! Our spiral bound stat book has durable covers that lay flat for easy recording. The example page includes an abbreviation key and a sample game for you to reference.
Typical stat books are made for coaches and managers to record stats for multiple players. Our book is uniquely designed for YOU to quickly and easily record stats for YOUR player, all while watching the game! Simply mark the boxes in each category during the game. Afterwards, add up the totals in each section for a comprehensive view of your player’s performance.
With room to record up to 50 games per season, your player's stats can be added up and averaged for total season percentages. See your player's progression year over year, skill by skill. Label each book with your player's name/team/season, and collect throughout the years. With your collection of TALLEY OOP player stat books, you'll be able to look back on your player’s journey through each new level they have achieved, whether it be a higher ranked club, college, or even professional!
Help your player create attainable goals. Each page has a section for your player to fill in a pregame goal. You can suggest a Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound goal based on stats from a previous game. This will help your player build confidence by visualizing a goal and seeing their progression towards achieving it.
Be specific with your feedback! Your player will love hearing about the "6 rebounds grabbed ” or the "2 great passes that led to assists!" In the notes section, add comments about intangible skills like effort, hustle or teamwork. "Consistent effort in the first quarter!" is a great way to acknowledge skills that don't always equate to a quantitative stat. Connect with your player by reviewing pre-game goals and discussing the game notes together.
